Chapter 3 — Emphasizing the Subject
This chapter shows how to improve composition design and focus more attention
on your subject, using features in Photoshop and Painter to select the background and
soften it. After finessing the composition, painterly brush effects are used over the image background and subject.
We strongly encourage you to use your own images as you work with any new methods. Using your own photographs makes for a more personal and pleasing experience, with the added benefit of creating a work of art that is uniquely your own!
